Golf tourney to help Jets sports

A heartfelt thank you goes to the committee for the second annual Encinal High School Alumni Golf Tournament held on May 12, at the Chuck Corica Golf Complex.

Approximately $11,000 was raised to support Encinal athletics. About $9,000 of the $11,000 will help defer our substantial athletic transportation budget. The remainder assisted our cheerleading and baseball programs.

The committee was led by Tim Marr and assisted by Mario and Wendy Mariani, Bill Westernoff, Ed Ramos, Joe Sherratt, Donny Peterson, and Marty Garchar who are all examples of Jet pride.
