Hi Paul I'm Sharon Burgett Peckham. I went from Alameda High to E H S as soon as it opened for business. Went there for 3 years until i had the misfortune to move to Iowa. Met and married a Iowa boy in 1955 and still with him. I loved Alameda and E H S.

To Sharon - Did you by any chance have a teacher named Peggy Doherty? She is my mother in law and taught History when you were there.

I sure remember your family and you. How are your brothers? Paul was good friends with my brother in law Jim. I think my mom stayed in tough with your mom. If she were still here i could ask her.

Both my parents passed away a couple of years ago. My oldest brother Sam too. Dave lives in Monterey, Paul in Montana, and I live in Oregon.

I believe i did. The teacher i remember most was Clarence Kline, he and i never got along. It must have been a personality thing i don't know.

Sorry to hear about your parents and Sam. I remember when Sam came home from Asia with chilling stories. Give my regards to Paul and Dave. I remember them both, especially my friends (Dennis and John) corrupting little Paul in the field.

My mom passed in January and my dad a few years ago. They had lived at Tahoe for the past 35 years. My sister still lives in California.

I spoke with Mrs. Tawata (your old nieghbor) last year when she called my mom. She still lives on Larchmont.
