thankfully mcbush DIDN'T win. we do NOT need another rich old white man in office. it truly amazes me concerning the ignorance and flat out lies regarding president-elect Obama. it shows how low people can go when they don't know any better. I'm damn happy to see this day has come. |

I am searching for Mary Kennedy class of 61. In the early 1970 she worked for Pac Bell and lived in an Apt on Santa Clara. At that time she had not married so she is probably still Kennedy.
If you have any information regarding Mary please contact me at CLSweet@pacbell.net
Thanks!

End of Notes:
If you can help at the snack shack please contact Phil at Dakcan@sbcglobbal.net There is a meeting planed for Sept 22, 2008 at 6:30PM in the teacher faculty room.
If you want to help it would be a good idea to attend this meeting.
From the treasure's report you would think we have a lot
of money. Most of the money in our bank account is
slated to go to the school once it has been determined
by the committee what they will purchase with those funds.
Without the golf tournament process we have around $1,600
and that is not much.
Since we hope to do inductions ceremony for the
newest hall of fame members, athletic and maybe civic hall
of fame, we will need a lot more then $1,600.
Currently members have been our main source of income
and a number of members have been very generous with
their time and money and their support is appreciated.
We understand that many of you don't have time to
attend meetings and help with other activities. It does
not take a lot of time to pull out the old check book
and write out a check to EHSAA. The dues are not
much just $20 for new members and $10 for renewing
members. You can contact me at CLSweet@pacbell.net and I will send you an application.

ENCINAL HIGH SCHOOL
Home of the Jets
May 10, 2008
Hello Community Member,
Parents and friends of Encinal High School are hosting the 11th annual Grad Nite party, an all night celebration for the 2008 graduating class on Saturday, June 14, 2008. Our purpose at Encinal High is to reward our graduating seniors with a safe and sober environment.
Our plans this year consist of casino games, swimming, dancing, movies, interactive games, food and raffles. At this event we transform the gymnasium into a spectacular setting that invites participation. The entire evening is set up and chaperoned by adults and teachers.
In addition to our committees fund raising activities, we are currently soliciting prizes and gift certificates to raffle off during the event to enhance the many activities scheduled.
Donations help with a variety of items and activities that we could not otherwise provide. We would appreciate your generosity in assisting us with anything appropriate that your organization or business can provide.
All donations are tax deductible (ID# 94-3146583) and all donors are recognized in our local newspaper and at our event.
Donations may be sent to: Encinal High School

210 Central Ave
Alameda CA 94501

Matt Wasteney update:
5 April 23, 2008 at 11:32 PM PDT
Matt was transferred out of the ICU and onto the floor on Tuesday 4-22-08! He continues to impress all of the medical professionals that are assigned to care for him. He has been working with the physical therapists as well as a variety of other folks whose unified goal is to help Matt get the heck out of the hospital as soon as possible. It is evident that Matt is receiving the best possible care from the folks at Stanford Medical Center.
Matt wants to express his thanks to everyone that has been helping him on his road to recovery. He is enjoying hearing all of the great messages of support being posted here. Matt has also asked that a very specific message be posted here on this site. "Please tell everyone that I am not going out like a Biotch!" As you can all imagine, Matt had his signature smile on his face when he said this. He then asked for a Cherry Big Gulp with crushed ice. The dieticians have not exactly approved that specific request. However, it is only a matter of time. :O) |

Matt's condition continues to improve rapidly. If all goes well, His doctor is hoping to have Matt moved out of ICU and "onto the floor" in about four days. The doctor has been adamant that Matt's visitors be limited to close family members only. He is concerned about Matt getting too much stimulation too soon. As soon as Matt is moved out of the ICU he will be allowed to have many more visitors.
Matt underwent a wide variety of tests yeterday and and as soon as he is able, he will begin physical therapy as well as occupational therapy.
Matt is aware of the messages of care and concern for him that are being posted here and he is anxious to read them. |
